This service includes a qualified sonographer, ultrasound equipment, and delivery of studies to an interpreting physician on a pre-determined schedule. Lucid provides clients with CPT and ICD9 codes to bill for each procedure.
Reimbursement depends on a physician's specialty and varying policies among insurance carriers. Therefore, it's important to determine whether or not a provider will be reimbursed for performing the exam before it is rendered. Lucid is familiar with current requirements and policies and is able to assist in this matter.
